UX internship @ adidas

internship - fall 2015

SUCH an unexpected but incredible experience, grateful for every moment. I enjoyed it down to the second; the inspirational people I met, my team, my friends, the city sports, the woods, the trees, the sunrise, the food and the beer. I am definitely coming back Portlandia!

It feels like a dream when work is as fun as everything described above. This was of the best experiences in my life. The best part was to design a tool to help designers get inspired and explore future concepts with 3D models. I was extremely lucky to manage 20k and vendors who helped us develop a proof of concept for the vision I created.

I can’t recommend Sabina enough. She’s a professional communicator, great UI/UX designer, and quick learner. She’s got an eye for the details, cares about the works that she does, and it shows. On top of all of that, she has a great attitude and works well alone or in a team. She has a diverse set of skills that will be valuable to any team, but I hope she comes back to ours sometime soon!

Sabina brought great confidence and professionalism that allowed me to feel I could give her challenges that would have felt like risks with most interns. She was able to make a project plan, find external vendors to support the web development, and work with our legal team to get contracts in place that fit our project budget.

She proved herself to be an adept communicator with excellent problem solving skills. Sabina proved her user centered design skills through providing many proposals for the UI and UX, most of which are being realized in the functional application.

Her extra communication helped her tool get buy in from our global team. Because of her personality and experience, she was able to accomplish this with relative ease.

Sabina pushed herself to learn many new tools and understand the creative problems we could solve. Sabina is a hard working, fun, and professional person and UX designer, and any design or software development team will be lucky to have her.
